The food EVERYTHING is very delicious. We had the lunch special with fried white "sawara" fish. Although we were hoping for bagels, the fish, home made tartar sauce, and rice were exceptional. The space is quiet calming, with sunlight through the big glass doors and you can sit outside on the terrace. We also had the bagel french toast which cones with a hot beverage. The tea I had was so delicately flavored with a carmel nut essence, it was delightful. Best cafe I've been to in Sakai!

Lovely staff, friendly and professional and relaxing ambient atmosphere. The coffee was freshly gridded and made to order. Moreover, the coffee was excellent. Sakainoma cafe is little oasis setback behind a beautiful old cherry blossom tree, providing beauty and shade in the summer months and I look forward to visiting during Sakura. Attention to detail here is nice with glass and ceramic cups and zero plastics. Inside is rustic yet modern and nicely decorated. They also have asides form good coffee and selection of foods available. The staff also speak English although I like to practice my Japanese. This is very helpful.

Lovely atmosphere, a traditional Japanese architecture inn with a beautiful tree in front of the shop. You can sip your coffee sitting outside under the tree and watch the surroundings, which is a complete luxury in Japan. The drinks are the same as anywhere else though, but the prices are affordable so this is a good place to rest after a long day.

The perfect traditional house with a modern twist. Minimalism at it's finest. Good connected to the station Sakai, maybe six minutes. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommended. ありがとう

This is a lovely, cozy cafe owned and run by Nanako, a native of Sakai. The food is so good and they offer a variety of beverages and desserts too. (My husband and I loved the cheesecake.) The dishware and ceramics they use are all also so lovely and add a special touch for those interested in home goods!
